This ceremony is offered with deep respect for Balinese Hindu tradition — practices held by this island for centuries, long before we arrived as guests upon its land. We are guided by local ceremony holders and offer thanks through daily rituals and offerings, honouring Mama Bali as the ground beneath everything we do here.
Melukat is a traditional Balinese purification ritual, performed at sacred springs and temples to cleanse the body, mind and spirit. Within our ceremony, Melukat becomes a moment of release — a washing away of what no longer serves, and a blessing for what comes next.
Before we enter ceremony, we pray — giving thanks to the land, the water and the spirits who hold this place. Offerings are made in the Balinese way, a small act of reverence reminding us that we are guests here, held gently by something far greater than ourselves.
"I have never felt closer to the sacred than kneeling in that water, under that moon. It changed something in me permanently."
Held monthly in Bali, in close partnership with local ceremony holders.
