A gentle reminder that your sacred self-care is not a luxury — it is the foundation from which everything else flows.
Dear beautiful woman,
I have been thinking about you.
Life has a way of pulling us into responsibilities, commitments, caring for others, managing endless to-do lists — and before we know it, the very practices that nourish us are the first things to disappear.
Sacred self-care is not something we do once everything else is finished. It is the foundation from which everything flows.
When we are depleted and running on empty, we have little left to give ourselves — let alone the people we love. But when we are nourished, present, and connected to our inner world, life begins to feel different. We respond rather than react. We hear our intuition more clearly. We remember who we are.
I created circles, retreats, and sacred gatherings because I know how easy it is to forget ourselves. We all need reminders. So today, I want to offer a few simple practices to bring you back home.
Small ways to return to yourself
- ❀
Begin with a hand on your heart
Before reaching for your phone, pause for one minute. Place a hand on your heart and simply ask — “What do I need today?” Then listen.
- ❀
Create micro-moments of pleasure
Pleasure needn’t be extravagant. Sunlight on your face, a cup of tea enjoyed slowly, fresh flowers on the table, a walk in nature, three conscious breaths. Small moments matter.
- ❀
Spend time with your future self
Imagine the wise woman within you — the one who trusts herself completely. Ask her — “What would you have me know today?” Then write whatever comes.
- ❀
Connect with your body
So many women live from the neck up. Each day, take a few moments to move, stretch, sway, dance — or simply place your hands on your womb and breathe. Your body carries wisdom.
- ❀
End your day with gratitude
Before sleep, reflect on three moments from the day that touched your heart. They may be tiny. The beauty is in noticing them.
Healing is not always found in the big breakthroughs. Often it is found in the small, daily choices to honour yourself.
- The choice to rest.
- The choice to slow down.
- The choice to listen.
- The choice to make yourself a priority.
You are worthy of your own love and attention. Not because you have earned it. Not because everything is done. Not because someone else says so. Simply because you are.
What is one sacred self-care practice that has been supporting you lately? I would love to know — send me a message any time.
